Nora's candy apple red corvette.....or rather her deceased dads vette was parked near the front of the mall. The small framed girl getting out and taking out a small black duffel bag. Her hair was partially up in a ponytail, the rest of her wavy hair hanging down along her back. She made her way inside and to a small store kind of tucked into the back of the mall. A dance store. There was everything from cd's for breakdancing to ballet and everything inbetween. There in the back of the store was a room a glass window encasing it from the rest of the store, and mirrors on two of the walls with a wooden floor. Just what nora needed, a new place to practice for now....
She'd known the owner....or more or less met him the other day having a nice chat with him and introducing herself to him, Asking to use the backroom which was temporarily.....not being used. She got permission and had been showing up for a day or two now coming for a good two to three hours to work. Even bringing a friend once. or more or less a partner, it seemed harder and harder to find them these days, here at least. The school would be hosting a competition soon eneough and she could see it all in her head. Though the person she'd imagined dancing with her wasnt with her....They seemed to dissapear in her head as she couldnt find someone, not someone at her level at least...So she'd have to go solo.....
She'd actually asked a few schools about their students looking for a partner.....And she'd come in and given a few try outs.....There was one that had......potential?.......but he was more like a linebacker than a dancer, when they danced he had no flow, and knocked into her once sending her flying back onto her but a few feet away actually. So at this point sheh was about ready to giive up on that idea....sure she'd keep her eyes open but there wasnt anything she'd began talking herself into going into a solo and fixing one up for herself....sure it wouldnt be as great as it would be if she'd had a partner, but it wouldnt be...bad.....She just had a lot of work to do...so here went.
She set her bag down taking and unzipping her blue light jacket setting it on her bag and taking her sweats off to her uniform of choice for the day....A cherry wine, red with the leg stockings that she normally wore that sort of covered up her tatoo....and her six inch heels.....A normal onsomble(sp) for her.
She moved into her routine, starting out with something a bit easy...Stretching, doing it for sheer repition. Then moving her steps quicker and with more rythm, more flow. to them, down, spin...spin....shoulder roll with step back, step step, da ...da...da...da... over and over, different. Moving her imagination to mov with the movements of her body music in the backround flowing with it....just like she'd imagined, well somewhat, it was good eneough....
